1. Booking Process

We reserve the right to decline a booking where the requested work is outside our scope, where the property conditions are unsuitable, or where reasonable access cannot be arranged.

When booking carpet cleaning services, you must provide accurate information about the premises, the areas to be cleaned, the type and condition of the flooring, any stains or damage, and any known risks such as fragile fibres, water sensitivity, recent repairs, mould, pet contamination, or pre-existing odours. 2. Service Scope and Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for moving small or fragile items before the appointment unless we agree otherwise. We may move lightweight furniture at our discretion, but we are not obliged to move heavy, fixed, valuable, or unsafe items, including pianos, large wardrobes, electronics, antiques, or items with concealed risks. Any request for additional preparation, lifting, or reinstatement may be chargeable. We recommend that valuables, breakables, and personal documents are removed from the work area beforehand.

If you have pets, children, or other occupants at the premises, you must take all reasonable steps to keep them away from the treatment area during the service and while the carpet is drying. You must also disclose any health concerns, allergy concerns, or sensitive materials that may affect the cleaning process. We may pause or stop work if the environment is unsafe, unhygienic, or incompatible with the service.

3. Payments and Pricing

Unless stated otherwise, prices are quoted in pounds sterling and may be stated as fixed prices, estimates, or rate-based charges depending on the nature of the work. A quotation is not binding where the scope changes, access is restricted, hidden contamination is discovered, or additional rooms, items, or treatments are requested. Where a site visit is required, any estimate may be revised following inspection. We will aim to explain any significant change before proceeding.

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking or invoicing. We may require a deposit, card pre-authorisation, or full payment in advance for certain services, including larger jobs, commercial work, or appointments made at short notice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due immediately upon completion of the service. We accept payment by the methods stated at the time of booking, and we may charge reasonable fees for failed, reversed, or late payments where permitted by law.

Failure to make payment on time may result in suspension of any further services, recovery action, and reasonable costs incurred in pursuing unpaid sums. Title to any goods supplied, if applicable, does not pass until full payment has been received. 4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Waiting Time

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by giving notice as soon as reasonably possible. If you cancel with sufficient notice, we will ordinarily not charge a fee, unless a deposit has been taken or we have incurred specific costs in preparation for the visit. For short-notice cancellations, missed appointments, or refusal of access on arrival, we may apply a cancellation charge that reflects reasonable lost time, travel, and administrative costs.

If we need to cancel or reschedule due to illness, vehicle failure, equipment issues, safety concerns, adverse weather, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will try to give notice promptly and arrange an alternative date. Our liability for inconvenience caused by rescheduling will be limited to rebooking the service, except where other rights cannot lawfully be excluded.

If we arrive and are unable to start or continue the work because the premises are not ready, access has not been arranged, or there is an unreasonable delay beyond the agreed waiting period, we may leave the site and treat the appointment as cancelled by you. Any deposit paid may be retained to cover our reasonable losses, subject to applicable consumer law.

5. Liability and Limitations

However, outcomes may vary depending on the age, fibre composition, wear, staining, prior treatment, and general condition of the carpet. Some stains, odours, shading, pile distortion, colour loss, or shrinkage may be permanent or may reappear after drying. Where such risks are inherent in the material or pre-existing condition, we cannot guarantee full removal or restoration.

This may include dirty water, extracted residue, used filters, contaminated cloths, packaging, or minor cleaning debris. Such materials will be handled in a lawful and responsible manner. We will not knowingly dispose of waste in a way that would breach environmental, drainage, or local authority rules.

You must inform us in advance if there are unusual contaminants, including bodily fluids, sharps, biohazards, chemical residues, asbestos-related concerns, pest infestation, or other hazardous materials. We are not obliged to handle waste that requires specialist licensing, protected containment, or hazardous waste consignment procedures unless specifically agreed and lawfully permitted. Where such conditions are discovered during the service, we may stop work and advise that specialist contractors are required.

Waste collection and disposal obligations may vary according to the nature of the property and the type of residue involved. Unless agreed otherwise, you remain responsible for general household waste and for ensuring that the premises are suitable for lawful disposal and drainage practices. We reserve the right to decline any task that would place us in breach of waste, health, safety, or environmental rules. This includes any instruction that would require improper discharge into drains or external areas.

7. Complaints, Reattendance, and Inspection

If you believe that the service has not been carried out in accordance with these terms, you should notify us within a reasonable time after completion and before the issue is altered by further use, cleaning, or treatment. We may request photographs, a description of the concern, and reasonable access to inspect the affected area. This helps us assess whether the issue is due to workmanship, pre-existing damage, or normal drying and settling.

Where a complaint is justified and the matter is capable of remedy, we may offer a re-clean, spot treatment, or other reasonable corrective action. Reattendance does not imply acceptance of liability beyond what is required by law. We are not obliged to provide a refund where the alleged issue arises from the age or condition of the carpet, from undisclosed information, or from an outcome that was reasonably foreseeable before cleaning commenced.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties should act reasonably and consider proportionate steps to settle the matter without unnecessary delay or cost. This clause does not affect your legal rights to seek advice or pursue remedies available under consumer law.

8. Force Majeure and Service Interruptions

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control. These may include severe weather, flooding, fire, transport disruption, industrial action, public health restrictions, acts of terrorism, power outages, or shortages of materials and equipment. In such cases, we may suspend, rearrange, or cancel the appointment without penalty, and we will seek to resume service as soon as reasonably practicable.

If an event outside our control makes performance impossible or unlawful, either party may cancel the affected service without further liability, except for payment for work already performed or costs already incurred where permitted by law. We will use reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and communicate changes promptly.

9. General Provisions

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or commercial changes. The version in force at the time of booking will normally apply to your service unless a later version has been agreed in writing. No waiver of any term shall be effective unless made in writing, and any failure to enforce a right on one occasion does not prevent later enforcement.

These terms form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the service, subject to any non-excludable statutory rights and any written variation agreed by both parties. If any clause is found invalid or unenforceable, that clause shall be treated as severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder shall continue in full force and effect. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship between the parties.
